A giant win at a giant game

Todays Hanshin game was by far the best one I've seen ever. I was a little late because of work, missed the first inning. The score was already 3-0 when I arrived in Tokyo Dome. Asking some guys there who scored in the first, suddenly, before we knew it, Hamanaka hit a home run and we were on a streak. Zap zap zap, Shimoyanagi pitched like a god, Giants got 3 hits during the whole game, besides those they didn't have one shot outside infield. So you'll understand why Kanemoto was like this 95% of the game.

Shimo even batted in 2 points! If you have seen Shimo in the batter box, you know what this means. He sucks at batting. His curve balls and sinkers are inpeccable but when it comes to batting, he barely swings the bat. He knows that he can't hit the ball. Today he tried once and just like that, he scored! Which made us cheer even more! I wonder if this guy wasn´t the happiest guy in the dome during the game.

Well, after totally crushing Giants with these scores:

we stayed for another 40 minutes or so singing all the player's songs and rokkoroshi a couple of times while the Giants fans started to leave from 7th inning when Yano hit a 2 run home run.

After the game I went to Zest, a mexican restaruant in Ebisu with Micke for the Germany-Argentina game. Petter, Victor (?) and Daniel joined as after a while. It was a really good game, but sadly Argentina was beaten by the always so efficient and well oiled german machine in a PK shoot off after overtime. In my opinion the germans had some help from the referee. I am not saying that Germany wouldn't have won without that referee, because the played very well and efficiently, but knowing that in 95% of the situations on the field, Argentina would be the one who got the foul. But then of course, who would like to have to run from the stadium having 40 000 angry german fans chasing you like rabies infected german sheperds?
3 am and the rain was pouring down. Heading home with my R6 wa a wet experience. I slipped once on a slippery spot on the road. That was pretty cool though. Almost got a kick out of it =)
So left to do today is to watch the italians perform on the field. Not soccerwise though, rather Hollywoodwise. I think they "get tackled" more times in one game than Charlie Sheen's body count in Hot Shot (Or is it Hot Shot 2?).
In a couple of hours me and Kuma are going to Oomiya for a natukasii-trip. It was over two years ago last time we went there. Then it's time for the next Hanshin-Giants game, followed by England-Portugal and Brazil-France.
